The Friendly Angling Club
We meet every Thursday night at 8pm at our club house at 270 Murray Road, Preston. Come and enjoy a drink at our bar, supper after the meeting and discuss fishing related matters with like minded anglers. Occasionally we have guest speakers talking about a wide variety of fishing related topics. You don't need to be a member to attend a meeting - visitors are most welcome.
We fish many rivers and lakes throughout Victoria. We are lucky enough to own a beautiful lodge on the Howqua arm of Lake Eildon and organise both trout and native fishing trips in appropriate seasons.
Many of our saltwater trips are organised from our lodge at Port Albert in West Gippsland. This offers a great base for surf fishing, estuary fishing and really fires for fishing outside the bar in Bass Strait.
