Fishing Reports

Maribyrnong Estuary Competition 20th of January 2019

7 members fished the competition with 2 late entries in Phil and Jaxson Brandi.  Start time was 11:00am and weigh was 6:00pm.

Most member started to fish around Footscray Bridge and worked their way upstream.  Phil landed a nice Black Bream of 33cm (600gm) at Fisher Parade Bridge, caught on chicken.  John Deveson also landed a nice Black Bream of 28cm (320), caught on worm under the Raleigh Rd Bridge.  John first fish in his new Kayak.  All other member reported lots of small fish on worm, prawn and chicken.  Weigh in was outside Essendon Angling Club.
