A very successful trip was had with 23 members, a junior and 4 visitors attending. The fishing was excellent with bait and lures having there share of success. Some lovely fish came out of the river with a rainbow and a brown exceeding a kilogram in weight.

The lake was at 30.3% full and the river clear with normal flow.

The fish were taken on a variety of lures and baits including worms, mudeye and smelt.

The competition was won by Bernard Harris with 15 trout for 7.235kgs followed by Ken Minnitt with 13 trout for 6.465kgs. Third place went to Ron Cocking with 11 trout for 6.460kgs. The best fish was a brown trout weighing 1.445kgs.
