Ten members and a junior enjoyed beautiful weather for a pleasant days angling. The main venues fished were the Goulburn River and Lake Purrumbete. The Yarra River and a suburban lake where also tried for no reward.

The best fishing was at Purrumbete where 4 members took 7 fish including a brown trout that tipped the scales at 1.925kgs. Five anglers returned 6 fish from the Goulburn.

Wayne Harris was the most successful angler with 3 brown trout for a cleaned weight of 3.370kgs. A total of 13 fish were weighed for 6.320kgs. Nathan Gunnyon, a junior, fished well catching two trout for 0.740kgs.
