Nine members fished the Goulburn River between Thornton and Ghin Ghin in perfect weather conditions. The river was low and clear. The fishing was a bit slow but rewarding for those who perservered.

A total of 10 trout were weighed including 6 rainbow and 4 brown trout for a total of 3.915kgs cleaned weight. The best baits were worm and mussel.

The winner was Frank Pernek with 3 fish for 1.165 kgs. Ken Ely and Alan Russell filled the placings. The best fish was a brown taken by Joe Donnini that weighed 0.580kgs cleaned. It was Joe's first attempt at trout fishing.
