Our working bee weather forecast was as bad as it could be and it certainly lived up to it. However our 11 members and 1 junior took it on and between the heavy rain breaks.
Lodge Audit and Meeting with G.M.W all jobs were completed by Saturday evening. We left on Sunday morning after rain all night and more to come. The members who cooked our dinner and sweets on Saturday evening, one of the best ever a credit to them after working all day, thank you.
Our wood shed was full and plenty of other wood for the “AfterB.B.Q.fire”. Wet, cold, some light snow on Sunday morning we were to drive home in some of the heaviest traffic we have experienced.
To David Way's wood splitter, members with chainsaws and 4x4, Andrew's big trailer made life a lot easier. To Ross Halligan, David Way, Daniel Jennings, Andrew and Phillip Brandi and son Jaxon, Drago Bagoric, Nick Jugovic, Bruce Warwick, Gordon McDonald and Richard Higlett for doing a great job above and beyond all expectations.
Thanking you all,
sincerely Les Penrose. P.N.A.C.
