Fishing Reports

Saturday turned out to be a beautiful day weather wise with early morning fog that lifted around 11.00 am.

Oliver Manasiev fished the pondage whilst George Kapouleas fished the breakaway area.  John Costa and Alex Isailovic fished the Goulburn above Thorton and then headed to the Acheron river at Taggerty.

Oliver had some action and he weighed in 2 rainbow trout that hit the "lie detector" at 960 grams, his best fish was 40cm long which weighed 700 grams cleaned.  George did not weigh any fish in but did sight many fish, unfortunately couldn’t get them to take his baits.  Alex Isailovic had a wonderful time catching his first trout, and caught a great looking brown trout that graced the scales at 340grams and measured 36cm.  John Costa had a ball with small fish taking brown nymph and glow bug flies fished on a tandem rig.
